Fallout 3 is a really great game, but, for me, it is a slow game. :)If you haven't bought this game already. This is good and bad because I have to be in the mood to play a slow game to play it. But regardless, it has a ton of content and will last upwards of 100+ hours never mind the addon DLC will extend that even more.And hey, you can't beat the nice, *useable*, lunchbox. go for the GOTY edition instead. It comes with all the DLC so you don't have to buy it all separately.
A classic. 8 years from now when PS4 or PS5 is out, people will still remember that if you owned a PS3, Fallout 3 was the game to have. Buy it, you will not be disappointed :)
I bought the collectors edition because it was on sale for a lesser price then the actually game and i dont have much to say about the extra's because i am not too into collecting things like this but i enjoy the art work that came with the game and i have yet to watch the DVD that came with the game but i think it will be fun to watch. I enjoy fallout 3 because you can just go out and search around the world that has fallen apart, find small fights, or just walk around looking for items you might want to keep or sell so you can make that perfect house. First thing i should say is that i love open world games and doing things on my own time. The bobble head that came with the game i think is nicely painted and doesnt look as crappy as i thought it would. I never was too into oblivion when it came out because i was a lot more busier then but now i love that i can just sit and play this game without it ending too fast. I wasn't sure how much i would enjoy it but i have played for hours and have started a few different games just trying to get myself the right character. Its actually a nice side item. Fallout 3 is definitely a pick up for anyone who just wants some time to waste in a fun game that takes time to complete.
There's a reason it won game of the year. I would definitely recommend this one.
But I broke down and gave it a shot and I haven't been able to put it down. Wasn't too sure about this game.
Plus a great amount of DLC coming. Great Game tons to do.
Totally worth it. Love it.
If you like FPS give it a shot.
The only problem is the random game issues that seem to happen with every copy. I love this game mainly because you decide what kind of character you will be.good or bad. There is plenty to explore and do in this game, I would say that it has as much replay value as Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. I love the bobblehead that came with this version and the art book is cool too, it's interesting to see what could have been in the game but isn't. The Lunchbox case that resembles an actual in-game item can be used for pretty much anything.
